Kiefer Receives ACTRA Award of Excellence
The Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA - Canada's actor union) has just honoured Kiefer with the ACTRA award of excellence. The award is presented every two years to an ACTRA member working predominantly in Los Angeles. The award was presented on September 25th at a reception in Los Angeles at the residence of Alain Dudoit, Consul General of Canada. Click here for more info.

Kiefer Pleads No Contest to DUI Charges
On Tuesday, October 9th, Kiefer pleaded no contest to a misdemeaor DUI charge stemming from his September 25th arrest. According to the plea agreement, Kiefer will be sentenced to a total of 48 days in jail. He will serve 18 days in the county jail starting on December 21st and then he will have until July 1st, 2008 to serve the remaining 30 days. Formal sentencing will take place on December 21st, 2007. National Child Day - Celebrity Designed T-Shirt Auction
Kiefer has personally designed a t-shirt to be auctioned off in support of the Children's Miracle Network. This one-of-a-kind t-shirt is part of the Holt Renfrew Centre Limited Edition Celebrity Designed Collection in support of National Child Day 2007. The t-shirt has also been personally autographed by Kiefer. You can bid on the t-shirt on Ebay. The auction ends on October 30th, 2007.

Primetime Emmy Awards
On September 16th, Kiefer received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. The award went to James Spader (Boston Legal) Kiefer and Ali Larter (Heroes) presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Mini Series to Robert Duvall. You can view the clip here. Rock Star 987

Kiefer & Argentinian actress/model, Araceli González, recently filmed a series of commercials in Brazil for the Citroën C4. You can view the latest ad here.

Dragonlance 
Kiefer will voice the key role of Raistlin Majere in the animated feature, Dragonlance, which is based on the book, Dragons of Autumn Twilight. The film will be released in the Fall '07

Hollywood Dads 
Kiefer is one of the fifty celebrity dads featured in the new photo book, Hollywood Dads. Renowned photographer Joyce Ostin showcases a candid portrait of each celebrity icon doing what they most enjoy - spending time with their children. The Sci Fi Channel has announced that Kiefer's production company, East Side Entertainment, will produce a two-hour pilot of a proposed series called "Phenomenon".
